By the end of Pre-K:

Children should be able to count to 20.

They should know phonics.NOT ABC but Aah, Buh, Cuh.

Science- opposites. Hot and Cold.. Higher and Lower... Small and Large etc..

Motor Skills - learn to be able to hold a pencil and write certain letters.

Kindergarten -

Complete Revision of Pre-K..but more intensive..

writing numbers, letters etc..

Children should be able to write their name by the end of Kindergarten.

Children learn Capitals and phonics - relating to words..

Cat............... which sound is the first letter? etc...
