Insurance has gotten sooo confusing...is this for cancer related issues? That is all I could find on it without requesting a policy book. Just thought I'd ask you smart people first. :)

  1. Preventative OV = preventative office visit.

A routine checkup/physical.  As opposed to a "sick" office visit, where you're actually going to the doctor for symptoms of some sort.

  2. it's your yearly physical exams and pap.  or for children it's usually more often if they are under 5

  3. I'm assuming this means preventive office visit. In other words, an office visit that isn't a "sick visit".

There's undoubtedly a customer service number on the back of your card -- just call them and ask. Or read the literature that your company handed out when you signed up for the plan.
