What does "Active Paid" means from a magazine when you check your status?

does that mean they are billing me later, or does this mean my suscribtion is already paid?

It usually means your subscription is current.  Also that you have paid in advance for a certain amount of time.  Did you order from an online site or prepay?  It's cheaper to do it that way.
