What does "Bio" mean in dishwashers?

Question

I have a Zanussi DWS 6706 dishwasher and it has a "Bio" button.

Also, i have a LG 7kg washer that has the button.

Wth does this mean?

Hi, I believe it means it using less energy and is energy efficient.

more efficient and saves you much more time. The efficiency for the cold water infused systems has more to do with bio active detergent, and if you don't use this detergent, you are not cleaning your dishes that well.
