  1. *FIRST, since Screen Actors Guild stands for SAG,that's SAG.

    * SAG is a guild for performing actors that have a membership with them, which is about $1000-1300 a year.

    * To qualify for SAG, you have to have worked on at least one big name or SAG affiliated show  or movie set.

*And since they don't have to pay non-sag actors as much as SAG actors, they like to use them for independent movies and low budget movies.

  2. Short answer. Non union actors (and actresses).  If you were a union actress, you would know that SAG means the Screen Actors Guild.  If your not in SAG, then they are taking casting calls from you. Break a leg!

  3. sag stands for screen actors guild, so 2 b cast u cant be in sag

  4. That's shady. That means that the producers aren't going to pay the union-demanded wages and the working conditions won't be up to union standards either.

  5. SAG is the Screen Actor's Guild. It's basically the professional actor's cocoon o' protection. It makes sure that the actor is being paid fairly and is being treated fairly, in Layman's Terms.

If you don't know what SAG is, you aren't a part of SAG, which means this audition is for you. : ) Break a leg. :D

I hope that this has helped you out!

    Hayley. : )

  6. SAG stands for Screen Actors Guild.
