  1. A cross over is basically in the middle of being an SUV and a sedan.  It has the room of an SUV but keeps higher mileage because it isn't gigantic like some SUVs nowadays.  It's basically a what a Hatchback used to be, just with a different kind of look.  There is no exact style for a crossover(e.g. sedan is 4 doors), but they're basically small SUVs.

    P.S.  I just realized this answer made me 25K point / LEVEL 7 !!!  Thanks !

  3. A Crossover is pretty much a car that looks like an SUV, but isn't a station wagon.

  4. Hi, SUV's are on the way out. A "crossover" is generally regarded as something that looks halfway like an SUV and handles more like a comfortable car. Dodge Caliber is one model, along with Nissan Murano, Porshe Cayenne, Chrysler Pacifica and maybe the new Ford Edge. Less boxy, more stylish, less trucky, more car like....but a little extra room. The Caliber replaced the Neon in the Dodge lineup. I have an 04 Neon myself, love it to death. Dodge had a winner with the Neon, hopefully the Caliber will be as successful. Same basic drivetrain, but the bigger Caliber results in fewer mpg's......No one ever thought gas prices would go thru the roof so quickly. As recent as last year the market suggested SUV's and Crossovers. Detroit will be re-tooling soon, i am sure.
