No, not in baseball as in "Designated Hitter" but in a marriage.

MIL = Mother In Law

People refer to their husbands as "DH" and I don't get it. What does it mean?!?!

(Don't call me stupid either, lol.)

  1. That one bugs the c**p out of me.

  2. God forbid we all type out complete words, complete sentences and use correct punctuation, eh?

  3. Dear Husband

  4. I don't think its stupid...in fact, I wondered too...but figured the H was for husband.  Must be an abbreviation that the younger generation uses????

  5. I've been wondering that too!!!! I thought it was "Divorced Husband"...but then I said, that doesn't make sense because of the way the abbreviations were used in the sentences.

    I prefer words to be spelled out and spelled correctly, when ever possible. People are just too lazy these days!

  6. DH= darling/dear husband

    DW= darling/dear wife

    DD= darling/dear daughter

    DS= darling/dear son

    SO= significant other

  7. Darling Husband

    Used a lot on my mother board I go too.

  8. DH means one of two things: Dear husband or dickheaded husband (Depending on your mood)

  9. d***o Humper? I dunno, I've never heard that one before.
