What does "Discontinued" means in Internet Shopping?

On internet shopping what does "Discontinued" means? Will the item ever come back again?

It means they no longer make it.  You may get a better deal because they want to get rid of the stock thats leftover.  Lots of season items are made that way.  NO, it will never come back. So be careful if its an item that you may  need more of. Example: tile, wallpaper, lipstick or eyeshadow color, special paper or envelopes...etc.

Discontinued means either the manufacturor will no longer make the item or the retailer is going to stop selling it, so who's site you saw it on, they will not replenish there stock and get it back in, so if you're interested in the item search for another site that may have some in stock/
