  1. it means you  are turning green

  2. it means helping the environment....recycling, driving more fuel efficient vehicles or not driving at all, just walk or ride a bicycle... also you should choose paper bags over plastic, better yet, buy reuseable cloth ones... stuff like that. buying energy effecient bulbs. and the metropolitan transit system contributes to a healthy planet by reducing emmissions from cars, & trucks & such bc they are for the public and lots of people use it for transportation. If all the people that used it there would be tons more emmissions going into the air instead of just one bus for all those people...

  3. I really don't know but it can mean

    1. weed smoker

    2. going vegetarian ^_^

    3. Environmental status like recycling and all that stuff.....

  4. going green is like going environmental, helping out by doing little things : ]

  5. Not using unnecessary energy and green house gasses. Not wasting water or resources and trying to use renewable energy and sustainable products. Eating organic and going vegetarian. Using public transport. Putting on more clothes rather than using the heater and opening the window rather than putting on the air conditioner. Living a sustainable life and caring about the future of our earth.

Public transport helps the environment because trams, trains and busses can carry alot more people than a car and only use about as much power as 3 cars i think. Yeah. :)

  6. Going "GREEN" usually means that someone makes more GREENBACKS for environmental fixes!

We have hybrid cars now, however, procuring the material for the batteries is hazardous.  Disposal of those batteries is another environmental problem that WE create!

Those little twisty light bulbs that so many people are replacing the time tested "ordinary" incandescent light bulbs with are an environmental hazard!  When you drop those bulbs there are states that require home owners to take special precautions and even call in a HAZMAT team to remove the broken bulb remnants!

Putting more alcohol in gasoline is now RAISING the price of food to keep human beings alive!     The land that used to grow corn for humans and animals to eat is now being used to produce corn simply for additives for gasoline!

Whenever you go "Green" there are other consequences to consider!

  7. going green means to become environmentally conscious in all your decisions....or at least to the best of your knowledge and within the realm of your ability...

reducing polution.... and reducing energy needs are not only important for respiratory health of all, but essential to long term population needs in the future......

global warming and climate change is all due to the position of the sun in relationship to distance and solar activity......al gores fever is a phoney hoax to bilk people of millions..... who is to say havign a warmer climate is a bad thing.... i am sure eskimos would like to wear shorts and tee-shirts all year long like i do in California???

  8. GOING GREEN can mean any number of little steps that you can take to reduce the harm that your living does to the environment. To go deep green means to study the needs of the earth's environment to such an extent that you are able to understand why some projects that look Eco-friendly may not be, you are able to meaningfully guide the rest of society to do the right things.

Clearly, just taking a cookie cutter approach to environmental matters will not get us there. We need to develop deep ecological wisdom.

  9. It means being environmentally aware. REcycling, doing things that will contribute to the environment becoming healthier and better. Instead of taking your car to work, take the bus or even bicycle. Unplug all appliances before you go out of your home...etc. March 29th at 8 p.m. is "Earth Hour" where you turn off everything for an hour to promote energy conservation. Good luck and go green, it's not easy but it's manageable. :)

    Green rocks!

  10. Means saving the environment. Growing more and more trees and not wasting much paper.

  11. doing your part to delay the total destrution of the enviroment

  12. It means environmentally friendly..using less energy..cars that use less gas and release less pollutants..home that are energy efficient.  recycling, using products that don't harm the environment.....and that biodegrade faster...

  13. means that you like to smoke weed !!!

  14. GOING Green is actually a term our company uses everyday.  It's basically using less of Earth's resources.  It has to do w/ carbon offset which is using less waste to offset things you can't be more efficient in.  Also reducing your carbon footprint is part of GOING Green.  This applies to the transit system as it uses less fuel by using mass transportation.

  15. It means doing all you can in your life to help the environment.  Like not wasting water, recyling... things like that.
