What does "Imprint" mean?

So... apparently in the new Twilight book 'Breaking Dawn' Edward and Bella have a baby (how?? no sperm??) and Jacob 'imprints'... on it? Now people are calling him a pedo? What does 'imprint' mean?

  1. Imprint means they were ment to be before they were born, Jacob imprinted on Renesmee which means they are suppost to get married now. Thats why Bella yells at him about being part of the family as a Son-In-Law.
