What does "KT" stands for in relations to ski/snowboarding?

I saw some people saying the "kt is icy" or "kt is the best lift in the world", "kt all over", WHAT IS KT?? Saw them at a review for the resort at Squaw Valley in CA.

KT 22 is a run at Squaw Valley.  It is quite steep.  It was named because the wife of the original developer took 22 kick turns to get down it.

This is the name of a run at the area. It is KT-22, it was named for the way that the wife of the operations manager came down it the early 50's.  She MADE 22 "kick turns" to go from the top to the bottom.  It is one of the more famous stories in the ski resort lore in the USA.
