  1. its just a way of showing love and affection think of it as a term of endearment. Some people think its weird to call their spouses or partners momma papi daddy whatever but its just a way for people to express how close they are and to continue on with the loving caring relationship that they had with their own parents.

Think about it a mother cares supports and loves her child, what its it that you are doing with your partner. The SAME thing. It just show that this person views you as a nurturing loving person who they can depend on. Consider it a COMPLIMENT.

  2. It's likely a term of endearment, like sweetheart or honey.  It doesn't mean that you remind him of his mother.  If he were American-born, he might call you, "babe", which means about the same thing.

  3. "you'll always [be the one I love] no matter what, and that isn't going to change"
