What does "No mail receptable" mean?

i sent a letter to an office and i got it back with the city state and zip code scratched out and it had no mail repectable stamped on it and i cant figure out what it means can someone plz help

    Perhaps you mean "No mail receptacle"?

    A  receptacle is a container, such as a box....

    So you have no mail box...


  2. The mailman went to deliver the letter, but there was to receptacle at the office in which to place it--so, they sent the letter back to you.
