I hear it in school, online, and and really anywhere I go. What does it mean? Is it inappropriate? Is it bad? Is it making fun of something?

Just tell me what it is. Thanks!

  1. People think it started on Family Guy. But it was out way before then. In some cases it is kind of inappropriate (peantbutter and jelly with a baseball bat). But you have to hear the actual song for that. But it's not really bad.

  2. It was actually an online video first. Then people started spoofing it.

  3. Well you see in poor countries all they can afford was peanut butter and jelly so naturally whenever they had enough money to buy these the ppl would come out of there huts and chant its peanut butter jelly time no I'm just messing with you its just a fun thing to chant

  4. It was on Family Guy. Brian wore a banana suit and sang Peanut Butter Jelly Time to Peter to cheer him up. That's all, it's just a saying.

  5. My son's class did this song at their graduation it was so funny but yeah i saw it on family guy too.

  6. it's a song...it's not inappropriate, it's not bad and it doesn't make fun of someone

  7. Its a song....or from a song... im not sure which since i don't listen to that kind of music (r&b, hip hop, rap).

  8. no, it's just a song. it's a reallllly old song and they made a banana dancing up and down to it. they made a spoof off of it on family guy once. you can watch the video on youtube :0)

  9. haha well it doesn't really mean anything. it's just some goofy thing that they sang on family.lol

  10. Doesn't really mean anything it's just a random song that was made just for fun. It's something you can dance to and enjoy. the song doesn't have any real meaning(really none at all).
