It literally means ''push (press) do not swallow''. That does not make much sense. Where did you see this expression? A little context would really help :)

Oh, I see now. It would mean then ''Do not swallow the Press''. Totally fits with the man: do not believe everything the press says.

''Avaler'' can be slang for ''to believe'' in a pejorative way: to be gullible in a way.
