The answer to the question "Describe the symmetry properties of a parallelogram" was "Rotational symmetry of order 2", what does it mean?

  1. It means that if you rotate it how many times will the shape be idnetical to the original shape thrrough 360 degrees. A parallelogram is identical when rotated through 180 and 360 degrees so it has order 2


  2. It means you can turn the parallelogram round, and it'll appear the same twice... that's at 180 degrees and 360 degrees.
