  1. Check out this free e-book about online poker, I'm sure it can be of interest to you.

  2. Burning a card means to take a card off the top of the deck and turning the next card face up.  For instance:  The dealer deals the cards to all of the players.  He now needs to put out the "flop," which is the first three cards that starts the betting rounds.  Before he puts out the "flop," he had to put a card face down from the top then turn over the next 3 cards.  The next thing is the "turn." He then must put a card face down then put the "turn" card face up.  Say he did not notice a player did not include their bet for the round to allow them to see the turn, the floor person might have him take the turn card back, reshuffle those cards then burn - put a card down then turn another card up which may affect they cards and the players

  3. its when you put the top card in the deck in a graveyard. In poker its best to deal the flop, turn and river cards second from the top because people used mark cards and would gain an advantage by peeking at the next card to be dealt.

  4. I do believe it means to turn a card over to show it's face.
