What does "curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back" mean? ?

  1. basically that your curiosity can get you in a lot oftroublee and lots of other things. but if you do go looking for an answer or what ever you were looking for, that your satisfaction of the answer was well worth the trouble that you went through to get it.


  2. In other words, being curious will get you into trouble, or "kill the cat" but being content and satisfied and not always poking your nose into everything will keep you out of trouble, or "bring you back" so to speak.

  3. cats are so curious that they get in tight spaces and get 'killed' but they find out what they were curious about, and are so satisfied that they come back from the dead... i think?
