  1. This is a legal phrase. Is this in reference to the DIANA INQUEST?Is that why the question is in royalty?

A depostition is a sworn, legal statement, testimony taken down in writing under oath."Described in depositions" is just a way of saying "what was written down on earlier, sworn testimony."

A better thread for this question would be Politics & Government, Laws and Ethics.

  2. The person asking the question  may have seen the phrase in the context of Royaly and may not understand it is a legal term.

While "deposition" has more than one meaning, this specific  phrase is usually used in law.

In legal terms, a deposition is a written statement given by witness under oath who cannot attend court in person.  Hence the phrase "descibed in the depositions" is referrning to something mentioned in such a statement.

  3. Does everyone who can not read post their questions in the royalty section?. Depositions implies the Law. Please close this and repost there
