What does "dropping 5% of your total pounds" mean? Is it losing 50 pounds?

  1. 5% equates to 1/20th of your total body weight. Multiply your total body weight by 20 to arrive at the weight you must lose.


  2. 5% would be multiplying your total weight by .05

    So say you're 150 pounds...

    Lose 7.5 pounds.

    (5% of 100 is 5)
