What does "it's our godforsaken right" mean?

It is what someone says when they claim they have a right given to them by God.  It's often used when people think their rights are unfairly being trampled on.

traditionally it's "our god given right"

godforsaken makes no sense in this context.

Its not bad. Just take the god forsaken part and it means the same thing. god forsaken is an expression by the way.
