  1. Throughout the lyrics to "Check Yes Juliet" by We The Kings, Juliet is being implored to go with the singer.  The line, "kill the limbo," is found in the first stanza:

    "Check yes Juliet

    Are you with me?

Rain is falling down on the sidewalk

I won't go until you come outside

    Check yes Juliet

    Kill the limbo

I'll keep tossing rocks at your window

There's no turning back for us tonight."

I believe that "kill the limbo" is, like the other lines, imploring Juliet to come out and go with the steadfast singer of the lyrics.  The particular references:  "kill" = end a state of being/status; "limbo"-- status of being held up where nothing can be done until another action happens.

  2. Limbo is a spiritual state between heaven and h**l, it's nowhere.  I think "Kill the Limbo" means to make a decision, take action.

"I'll keep tossing rocks at your window there's no turning back for us tonight lace up your shoes"
