What does "live and let die" mean?

some people tell me is like

you live right now and forget about the pass.

or

live and let people live their life's however they want

or it might mean something else

so can you please help me

  1. It's supposed to be "Live and let live", which means you live your life and let others live theirs... Live And Let Die is a James Bond movie. It's not really a quote like the other version. :)
