It's like when you say something, that might sound like you're L*****n/g*y, you say 'no homo' it takes away the thought that you are les/g*y. I'm a girl so for example, when I'm talking to a girl "I love you so much babe, no homo."

"No homo" is phrase that's used either before or after something is said.  It's used because the phrase or word or whatever might have sounded a little homosexual, and to avoid being made fun of for it, you throw that in the beginning or in the end.

For example, if I wanted to get someone back for something I might say to a group of friends "his @ss is mine" but that can be interpreted in a homosexual way, so I'll say "His @ss is mine, no homo."

If you do it right, it's funny and you get your point across unhomosexually.

It means the person may have said something that could be mistaken as homosexual, so (s)he make certain it's false out by saying "no homo." For example:

A girl might say when she sees me, "No homo, but that girl has some REALLY big b***s!"
