Am I the only one who thinks this is bad wording? Can I park behind the sign or in front of it?

  1. It's not really bad wording. The way you see it would have been worded like "No parking beside the sign" whereas, it clearly stated that the sign is on that side of the street and no one is allowed to park there, or atleast where it ends. Kind of confusing for a lot of foreigners.

  2. it means if you can read it you cant park there

  3. It is very bad wording and many states are trying to replace it with a sigh that reads   "No Parking Beyond" if that will help......

  4. If you can read what is on the sign, you can't park there.  So I would say that you can park behind the sign where you can't read the wording.  It is not the best signage.

  5. Do not park on that side of the sign.
