Question:

What does "outside in" mean?

my coach says it all the time at football but he never saod what it means.

  1. I always thought it was suppose to be a clever way of saying the opposite of "inside out". But in the case of football I don't see any connection.


  2. If you are on Defense you  always attack or tackle outside in.... A defensive player will always turn the play outside to inside.. You always have help inside but never outside..

  3. Building a team from the inside out means concentrating on DTs (or NT in a 3-4) before DEs and MLB (or ILB in a 3-4) and Safeties over CBs.

    On offense QB, Offensive line, RB, then WR (who are outside).  I am not sure about outside in.
