What does "pending debit-ach" mean?

when i recently checked my bank account online, it automatically subtracted 25 dollars from my account. i dont know what it's for and what it means..

does anyone know?

pending debit means a withdrawal coming soon

ach means "automated clearing house" which is an electronic service that processes money transfer requests.  I would guess that you gave somebody permission to withdraw the money so think carefully or ask the bank who the other party was that requested the money transfer.
