  3. In Italy we use ..street ( strada - via)

    Big street..important ..very large  (Viale )

    Big street to seem a square  ( Largo...pointed  L.go )

    Square .....(Piazza..pointed P.za)

    For Lgt,, is used only in topografy  it means Longitudine W. Greenwich

    Perhaps is for " Lungo Tevere" because you are looking on Rome

    it means Along the river Tevere..Are the street close the river that flows in Rome..

    ** Excuse me ..Porta is door..Because the old town had many doors when was fortifiched..walls.

    viale = avenue or buolevard

    p.zza (piazza) = square

    l.go (largo) = small square

    lgt = could be "lungotevere" (along the Tiber river)


  5. L.go is probably Lago which means lake
