What does "steady hours" mean? Does it refer to strict scheduling (9 to 5) or just regular work available?

I'm applying for a bank teller job and,as stupid as it sounds, I'm not sure of the exact meaning behind the term "steady hours." I've heard it before, but I don't know what level of flexibility to expect.
