in reference to the sonnet Ozymandias

the fulll line is " the hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed"

  1. "The hand that mocked and the heart that fed" The sculptor wrote these lines to make fun of the king.  Ozymandias heart fed on his self importance and vanity but reading the inscription, everyone else could we what a tyrant he was thanks to the sculptor.
