  1. i thnk that ur physical memory is all used up, so it uses virtual memory also known as pagefile.....i suggest u upgrade ur ram to 1-2 GB of ram

  2. If you install WinXP bu "default", then too small space to HDD. Remove any programms or data. Or, cllerar the Recycled.

  3. You need more RAM.

  4. You need more RAM.

Basically, you need to upgrade your hardware to do whatever you're trying to do.

  5. Here is what happening when you have a warning sign showing " virtual memory is low warning". Your computer uses physical memory, aka RAM, and virtual memory. Virtual memory is used to simulate more RAM when your computer is reaching its maximum CPU and RAM usage. It very similar to a bucket filling up with water. If your CPU needs water you can bring this resources to it. But your bucket size is limited. The more programs you use and disk space the more water is needed. But you can only deliver the set amount of water because your bucket size is limited. The bucket is your RAM. However, you can use a spare bucket to quickly to help meet the demand. The virtual memory is that spare bucket.

You can change your virtual memory by altering amount of free resources for your computer to use for it, in a sense making the spare bucket bigger. Virtual memory uses free space as a resource. So you can change the the amount free space reserved for the Virtual memory.

When you get to the Virtual Memory menu select the Custom Size check box. Then choose the initial size and the max size. Depending on how much free space you have you can choose what that amount of free space you want. If you are still confused the link below has a visual step by step instructions.

1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

2.Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.

3.On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.

    4.Under Virtual memory, click Change.

5.Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change. In most computers its C:

6.Under Paging file size for selected drive, click to Custom size check box. You can enter the amount of memory you would like to reserve for Virtual memory by entering the initial and maximum size.

    7.Click Set

Hot tip: Keep the initial and maximum size the same to cut down on your CPU access. This will stop your CPU from constantly change your Virtual memory paging size. Also set the size 1.5 times higher than your physical memory.

    Hope this helps!

  6. The real meaning of this message is that your "Operating System" is unable to do things well, and it requires more virtual memory because it stores garbage and does not clean things completely.

You can overcome this limit by assigning more hard disk space (virtual RAM) to your O.S.

    Here´s how:

Login as Administrator, right-click on My PC, then Properties, Advanced, Performance, Advanced and you will end with a window that shows the amount of virtual RAM you have. Click "change" , Custom Size, and write at least 2048 on both spaces. Now, click "establish" and Accept.

You have to reboot the machine.

  7. Virtual memory is free storage space (memory) in your hard drive that acts as Ram memory when there is not enough of it to run all your programs.

When you get a low virtual memory error message it simply means that it is time to upgrade your Ram memory.

  8. Virtual memory low means ur RAM level is  too low pls upgrade ur Ram speed.............

  9. This means that your computer is running out of space to install things (or run certain programs). To solve this you can get another hardrive or upgrade your hardrive. You can also click on "my computer" then right click properties on the "local disk" then there should be a button to run a disk cleanup. If you run this it should delete files that are not in use and are taking up preciouse space.

    Hope this helps!

  10. it means that the hd memory set for virtual memory is almost used up. you can change the setting by right clicking "my computer"then "properties" then "advanced"  then "performance setting" then "advanced" then "change". when the computer used up all RAM memory . the hard disk act as its substitute. and that is virtual memory. try this. turn off ur computer then start again. so  the ram memory will be reset. because all stored files in RAM memory will be deleted if the power is off. but i dont think that's convenient and effective.

  11. Yes

Its Problem when working memmory sector allocated in your hard disk is too LOW .

    To increce that GO TO

    >My Computer

    >>Advanced Tab -->Performance-->select settings which open a new window

    >>>select advanced TAB in the new window select third option -->virtual memmory -->select change which opens a new window

    >>>>in the window the allocated memmory of each hard disk is specified JUST INCRECE

    you are through

YOU may also need ultimately to increce RAM

as also compress your hard drive

    ALL the BEST
