What does saltwater do to your skin?

if you swim in the ocean, what does the water do to your skin?

mainly the face

it will dry it out but if you are in aa salt water pool i'm pretty sure it's good for your hair...and you can open your eyes underwater haha

BUT it does help with cuts & abraisions. also it helps with acne & oil.

Dries it out.  Salt absorbs moisture.  As far as your face goes, that could be a good thing if you have a lot of acne or very oily skin.  Otherwise, it is too harsh for your face.
