What does service locater mean on a talk talk bill?

also can your mobile listen to your landlne calls what are being made. when im on my landline phone phone, you can hear someone else on the line

  1. is it the nearest service centre to you when making a call (i.e. exchange centre or radio mast) ?


  2. Not sure what the service locater is on your bill, possibly 1471 ?

    You cannot listen in to your landline calls using your mobile as they use very different networks.

    But if you can hear someone on your line in the background but CANNOT talk to them, you have a fault on your line called overhearing, report this to Talk Talk and they will send out a BT Openreach engineer to sort this out for you.
