What does serving open to a guest mean?

  1. Never heard of this saying....sorry

An Open Bar at a wedding means that the guests go up to the bar and order whatever they want to drink.  No charge.  The wedding couple pays.  There will be waitresses drifting thru the wedding crowd taking orders.  She won't be collecting any money, tho.  Probably no tips either at a wedding.  That will come from the couple.

    On all applications, if there is something you don't understand , always say  That is my specialty.   So next to Serving Open to Guest:   i finished my undergraduate degree in Open Serving.  You will get hired and i promise no one ever looks at anything you write on an application.

    When do you start working.

  3. dish yourself, help yourself.  food will not be plated for you.
