What does shipment accepted mean?

according to the usps it says that my shipment has been accepted in my city yesterday. does it mean that i will get my package today because the estimate date of arrival is August 1st according to fedex smartpost tracking.

It means the didnt decline your package

I bet you are talking about the iphone bumper, I think we will get it today! I have "accepted" on USPS Edison NJ location as of 4pm yesterday. Unless USPS want to sit on it till Monday, they do have 1000s to deliver now and in total millions by the time it is all said and done. Good luck.
