silence is a metaphor, something that doesn't exist. It's common almost like telling a child who was born without sight how to see the color red. How is silence relative to sound, or how is matter and anti-matter true to each other.... This is a question worth asking, just the same as asking what is the purpose to human existence........ Good question.....

listening is an active thing once you engage your mind you are already hearing nothing. To remove your mind from this is a transcendental moment and only then you will know the sound but not hear it.

It is louder than anyone thinks. It is serene, it is ever speaking but not noisy. Full of wisdom and kept on learning. It understand all things and its voice span the fathom of complexities of the 10 directions of space, yet very simple and tangible as reality. It is coming from far yet coming from near.
