What does soemone need to move from USA to Barcelona?

I'm thinking about moving to Barcelona Europe. I was wondering How much money would it take for ticket, house, just all that stuff. I've never been out of the country and I'm thinking about moving there next year.

A job.  That would be a good thing to have.  And permission to live and work in Spain.  And a lot of patience to deal with the bureaucracy, there.  And it would be a good thing to know either Spanish or Catalán.

And a camera.  You wouldn´t want to be caught in Barcelona without your camera.
