What does someone mean when they say, you are not their type?

A friend of mine is dating a guy and he got drunk and said she was not really his type? What did he means?

It means he's got "attitude"

(1)Either the girl's so sweet that he feels she needs someone better than him. (that's a sweet guy )

(2)Or then, he's got pride and thinks she's not worthy of his looks and lifestyle. (a spolit brat with unreasoanble superiority complex)

(3)and lastly, perhaps, your friend is bossing over him and not being too faithful. ( he feels deceived for some strong "existing" reason)

I can tell you which slot the guy belongs to only if I know your friend better. However, you would have been able to identify which category she fits in. Basically, I think this a #2 case.ie, your friend is a cute, serene little thing and the guy thinks too much of himself.
