What does soy milk taste like compaired to milk that comes from cows??

It is not quite as creamy tasting and tastes a little odd at first. but after a few tries of it it tastes pretty good. Your best bet is to try it or you will never know for sure! :)

The only difference, IMO, is that it's not as thick. This can be fixed by my favorite soy milk remedy- Hershey's chocolate syrup. ;]

I never really liked cow's milk plain.

Soy is the only kind of milk that I actually like to drink.

I like vanilla soy milk the best.

i think it tastes MUCH MUCH better than regular milk actually.  it's a little sweeter and no nasty aftertaste.  i love it.  and all my friends like it better too (and no they're not all vegs)

Have you ever had bean curd?  It tastes like that.

Bean curd is like a non-dairy cheese made from soy milk. Soy milk is "uncurded" bean curd, that is, the liquified soy ingredients left without the salt that coagulates the milk into curd. Soy milk is the pour-off from the liquid used in making bean curd, and it tastes bean-curd-ish, but you can get it with vanilla added, or add it yourself, and it's palatable.

Plain soy milk tastes kinda like grass, but flavored soy milk tastes really good.

I think it tastes better.  I get Silk lite plain.  It actually tastes sweeter than cow’s milk.  It’s definitely different.  The texture is a little different too.  Plus, the color is kind of a green tint.  It doesn’t look like milk.  I love it-  I drink a glass everyday.  I also use the Silk creamer and love that.  Then, Silk’s choc milk-  you just taste the chocolate and it tastes great.

I far prefer the taste, but it's all personal preference.

I like the Lite Silk Vanilla. It's slightly sweet and tastes a little like vanilla.

Soy milk really don't have a flavor at all, it's what is put into it to give it a flavor, like chocolate or vanillia, and then it's pretty good. I drink it all the time because it's a good sorce of protein. Why don't you give it a try and see if you like it.
