haha i know i should know this but i dont.. what does spraying your dog mean ..? like tiying her tubes or what?

SPAY not spray. -- Removing ovaries, so there's no chance of reproduction, or pyometra, uterine cancer, etc.

PLEASE DO NOT Let her have "just one litter!"

Breeding is much more complicated than people think. It's not just a 'natural' thing that happens. If you breed responsibly, you will lose a lot of money doing so! It is expensive, and very time consuming!

Well, everyone already answered what spay is, but I just wanted to add something really quick... something you said.. makes me.. ARGH:

That's really irresponsible of you.. you don't know a thing about breeding and you are gonna breed your dog just for the heck of it? Haven't you ever heard of the whole pet overpopulation thing? If you breed your dog you are contributing to the deaths of homeless animals... sad but true.

spay is the actual removal of the uterus and ovaries.  No tubes are tied.. everything is removed.

Its the same as a hysterectomy in women.
