What does status: on FedEX truck for delivery, mean?

ok today is saturday and im expecting a package. My dad told me fedex never delivers on saturday. but i checked the status for my package and it says on truck for delivery, does that mean its gonna come today?

It's unlikely FedEx will deliver your package on a Saturday.  They charge a great deal extra for Saturday delivery, something on the order of $25-40 for a large envelope.

"On truck for delivery" probably means some of Monday's deliveries have already been loaded on the truck.

I have a FedEx package due today,,,,I beleive they do deliver on Saturdays,,,but not Sundays...My status says on truck for delivery also.  I guess we will know for sure very soon if they deliver on Saturdays.

It usually means that it has been loaded on the truck and en route for delivery on the date that it was scheduled to be delivered. If the box "Saturday delivery" was marked on the airbill, and if Saturday delivery is offered in your zip code, it should arrive today (Saturday).
