What does statutory holiday mean?

I'm filling out a job applications and it asks ' are you able to work statutory holidays? below it asks Is this going to be your primary source of employment?

What does this mean? I'm filling out a supermarket application by the way.

  1. statue is law. a statutory holiday is one dictated by law. such as presidence day.  


  2. Statutory holidays are things like Christmas, Easter, etc etc...can you work them...yes or no

  3. what the above people said about statutory holidays,  christmas, etc. primary source of employment is your main source of income. are you going to have another job also or is this going to be your main job, your primary source of employment.
