  1. Tacos in Chilean = Traffic Jams

The first answer is wrong, at  least for Chile.

  2. Taco in Spanish= The heel of a shoe

Taco in Mexican= An edible food made out corn or wheat tortilla

    Taco in Chilean= Traffic Jam

    !

  3. No, no, no. Tacos in Chile is not like the tacos in Mexico. In Chile, tacos means a car jam, when there is a traffic problem and the cars are not moving and are bumper to bumper. That's what a "taco" means in Chile. To use it in a sentence, you can say, "I couldnt go home earlier due to a big taco in such avenue"

  4. In some parts of Latin America "tacos" also mean cleats, as in soccer cleats

Another comon phrase is "taco de ojo"

which means someone is being ogled
