What does taking off in an airplane feel like...seriously im scared out of my mind :(

Im 16 and i havent been on an airplane since i was like 5. i hate fair rides/roller coasters. My family says im building mountains out of molehills. I will be flying over the thanksgiving holdiay out of raliegh to newark. Please dont try to make me feel better...tell me what it really feels like...take off and landing??

taking off and landing doesnt feel like a rollar coaster. it usually goes like this,

the plane will drive around very slowly until it positions itself onto the runway. then all of a sudden the plane will stop, the engines will turn on full force and youll be zooming down the runway. if you close your eyes( i usually do cause i hate taking off and landing) you won't even feel the point where you leave the ground and get into the air.it happens very quickly and with little motion. then slowly you'll feel the plane making its way up cause your ears may pop a little and before you know it, you've made it to 10,000 feet. landing is somewht similar- you start to feel the plane begin to decend about 40 min before the flight is ending.  about 15 min before the pilot will tell you youll be arrive at your desitination in 15 min and the temperature and time. you'll hear a loud scary noise but its just the wheels coming out of the plane for landing. then they will slowly make their way to the runway and when the plane lands (if the pilot is good) it will softly touch the ground, if he sucks he kind of thuds it, but all is well, you've made it!

The taking off feelings fine its when you are on approach and it feelings like you are going straight down but that only last about a second or two.

Take-off feels like this

You turn on the runway and as soon as your straight the pilot hits the trottles full power. You start to sink into your seat as you speed down the runway faster and faster, until finally the plane's shaking stops and all grows quiet. For a second or two you feel weightless then you look out your window to see the ground becoming farther and farther away.

It's awesome. That's all I have to say. The feeling of roaring down the runway on a Boeing 777 is comparable to nothing! You get a funny feeling in your stomach as soon as the plane lifts off but after flying a few times, you get used to the feeling (it doesn't even feel scary like a rollercoaster). Take me for example. When I first flew, I would feel that tingly sensation in my stomach. Now, I've flown so much, I'm used to it. Also, when you get to 30,000+ feet, the Earth looks so awesome!

At first it feels just like a car picking up speed and going faster and faster with no other cars around. Then you kind of float, no rough movements or anything. If you do not look out the window, you may not even know you are already up and flying. It's that simple. Not scary at all.
