Tech-savvy means knowledgeable about technical matters, new technology etc. A way of describing a geek – someone almost obsessed with computers.

'Savvy' is a slang word that comes from the Spanish 'sabe usted' (he knows) or the French 'savoir' (to know). Also English 'savant' (knowledgeable about a particular subject).
