What does that file do???where can i find it???

Question

an error keeps popping from Nero saying :"This program requires the file advrcntr2.dll, which was not found on this system."

each time i try to open my cam or play a video on realplayer, this error accurs..but after i click Ok , the program continues to work.

so, what does the file (advrcntr2.dll) do??and why does that error keep poppin???

I think the first answerer who has suggested downloading the file might work out for you, and he/she is right. But just in case if that doesn't work you could have a look here:

I don't know what the files does, precisely, but .dll files add functionality to the Windows operating system.  You can fix the error by simply getting the missing .dll file.  Here it is:

It probably goes in the following directory: "$SystemRoot\WINDOWS\system32"

Replace $SystemRoot with the letter of your boot drive ex. C:\
