  1. it means they find   the question interesting and they also can see who else starred it

  2. A stared question is displayed to their contacts who then may check it out and answer it. It is a positive response to the question.

I gave you a star so you can see for your self what it can mean. 8:)

  3. just to let you know you lost points just by asking that question. if you have any future questions about yahoo answers just go to the help section so you wont lose points about answers you can get from their help page. but yeah it means your question was interesting

  4. It means they find your question interesting & are recommending it to other answerers

  5. Yes I believe that means Someone thought your question was an interesting one to answer. Keep it up! :D

  6. On Y! Answers, each Question page includes a three-section bar marked Interesting!, Email and Save (Edit for your Questions).  The Interesting! section of this bar is used to mark the Question as of particular interest, and the Y! Answers server keeps count of the mark-as-interesting tally, posting a number of Stars equal to the total of mark-as-interesting actions by other users.  Starred Questions tend to be forwarded a lot to others who may be able to answer them, or alternately discover something from the eventual Best Answer(s).  Hopefully I explained the process well enough for your benefit.

  7. It just means that someone found your question particularly interesting or intriguing, and wanted the rest of the community to know.
