  1. It means that it is a parent directory and you can expand it further.


  2. it means there are subfolders\files below the parent directory in the file tree. Clicl on the plus sign to see whats below it.

  5. That means, the directory right across the "+" sign is the parent directory and there are sub-directories within that parent directory. So, if you click on the "+" sign, you should see more folders within that directory ;)
