On my iPod the other is taking up more space than my movies and music. I just want to know what it is so maybe I can delete some of the stuff.

  1. i have an ipod classic and i download a lot of stuff and save it on my ipod drive you know when you enable it as a disk drive i save them there to convert them later and that's what it always shows all the stuff that's saved up that i downloaded...anything you save on the disk drive that's the other ...

  2. If you don't have many games, photos, etc., it's probably your album artwork.  Album artwork DOES take up memory; whether or not you want to keep it is your choice.  I think it makes the user interface of the iPod look nicer (especially with the split-screen navigation), but if you're tight on memory capacity, you might want to consider deleting some of your album artwork.

  3. in ipod touch/iphone, apps, notes, calendar, etc.

in older ipod models, u can store files on ipod.

thsts all the help i can give.

  4. The other stands for like games, contacts, calendars, and album artwork. If you have no games installed and you aren't storing any files on it, It is probably a glitch and I suggest you restore in iTunes because most 'other' things shouldn't take up too much memory.

    I hope I helped!
