We are due for reassignment a few weeks before my due date. I remember reading that they have to wait to move us until after the birth, but I can't find the information on how far after. Any help? Thanks!

  1. He can always Report early or get his date deferred

  2. There isn't any regulation that covers this. However, if your husband comes down on orders, you can put in a DA Form 4187 requesting to move up or push back the report date by 30 or 60 days.

  3. HE has to report on time.   if you cannot travel, then you will have to wait and follow afterwards.

they do NOT have to delay a PCS due to a spouse's pregnancy.

  4. when i was pregnant with my first child our orders to japan were within fifteen days after my due date...they extended them for a month and a half...so we could get his passport etc....now if you are moving in the states..it may not be that long....because once you have the baby you should be able to move...
